Harmonized Tariff Setup
The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (commonly called “HS Codes” or “Tariff Codes”) is a universally-recognized system in international trade for categorizing the ‘type’ of goods. This allows the destination country to quickly identify any duties or taxes owed during the customs clearance process.
The European Union will begin to require HS codes on all inbound shipments starting on March 1st, 2023. In order to ensure shipments are compliant with this change, please make sure that the Customs Information section of each Product Page in your Marketplace has the correct Country of Origin and HS Code for that specific product. Select the # of products you would like for TVP to work on and we can get going ASAP.
TVP will make all reasonable efforts to find the correct HS code but results are not guaranteed.
